All Albertans should reach out to victims of family violence.
In November 2006, Alberta Children's Services launched a new provincial public awareness campaign: End the silence. Stop the violence.
It's aimed at everyone that doesn't want to get involved or doesn't know what to do.

The campaign includes a television commercial, movie theatre ads, and postcards mailed to most homes in east central Alberta and other rural areas across the province. In addition, a new government toll-free Family Violence Info Line has been activated: 310-1818 - and a new family violence prevention website at www.familyviolence.gov.ab.ca with resources and tools to help decrease family violence. |
